The English Garden
About this style
The English Garden is an enduringly popular style with a gentle palette and groups of repeated planting. The look can combine structure and informality as described, a parterre for example, or other forms of topiary adds a formal note, offset against a fragrant rose or clematis rambling freely over an arch.
Water features are often included in this style, in amongst the lawns and paths, also wrought iron or timber seating or a piece of garden sculpture.
